3rd Annual Valentine's Dance - 2004
Wow! First of all, thank you to all the members and non-members who supported this year's Valentine Dance. We really appreciate your dedication to assisting the NITCS with all of our programs.
On February 07, 2004, Royal Banquet Hall was jammed with many couples and non-couples looking to have a good time. The music was great and the raffles were awesome. Texas Factor, X-Factor, kicked off the night with the best in Tejano Tunes. X-Factor is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and put on one good show. When X-Factor took a break, Armando E.,Chizzme.com, took over providing the DJ sounds. This a joyous night and everyone enjoy themselves. So much that the after set took place at the Latin American Club. Thank Latin American Club to opening your doors to the NITCS.
There was food, music, conversation, beverages, entertainment and most of all there was a sense of Tejano Togetherness. Thanks to the people who attended this was a great night. A very special thank you to the President Maria Castillo to putting a 150% into making this event the best it could be. Also a special thanks to the Board, VP- Sarah Escareno, Sergeant of Arms - Apolinar Gonzalez, Treasurer - David Barbosa, Secretary - Teresa Gonazales, and Committee Member - Raul Barbosa. Thanks Raul for those special gift the NITCS was able to raffle off.
The Northern Illinois Tejano Cultural Society hopes that you continue to support our events as the Valentine's Dance because this is only a sample of what is ahead for you. Don't forget that the NITCS is the only Non-Profit Tejano Organization in the Midwest. Our proceeds go towards new events and the Scholarship fund. Continue to support so we can continue to increase the Scholarship Fund for our youths.
