Fay's Bar B Que
On
May 16, 2003, Northern Illinois Tejano Cultural Society held one of it's many
Fay's Bar B Que cookouts. This event is intended to generate money for the
Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded every year to those who merit the
award. This year's Scholarship recipients will receive their scholarship on
Saturday August 02, 2003 at the Scholarship Dance being held at Mike n Denise's
in Aurora, Illinois.
NITCS would like to thank all the members and the Executive Board Members
for all the help and their assistance at the Fay's Bar B Que held on May 16,
2003. Thanks to all of you this was a very successful event. We look forward
to the next Fay's Bar B Que on September 19, 2003 from 4pm -7pm at Cool Arces!!!
Don't be afraid to tell a friend to buy a plate only $8.00 in advance and
$9.00 at the door. Also on September 19, 2003 we will be selling soda pop
and water. NITCS will also provide Tejano Music so you can sit down and relax
and enjoy the music and eat your food.
